This easy fluff fruit dip recipe is not a cream cheese dip and it can be easily modified to be as thick or thin, sweet or tangy as you like!

I had this “fruit fluff dip” one summer at a friend’s house for brunch and it has turned out to be one of my favorite summer dip recipes! No waiting for cream cheese to get to room temperature, no stand mixer, hand mixer or food processor required!

Ingredients for creamy fluff fruit dip

Two Simple ingredients – sour cream and marshmallow fluff are available year round; perfect to serve with your favorite fruits. There’s no preservatives like in cool whip, no heavy cream, condensed milk, powdered sugar, no cream cheese, plain Greek yogurt, lemon juice – none of that. Just sour cream and marshmallow creme.

How to make it

Start with equal parts of sour cream and marshmallow creme; mix that together in a small bowl and taste!

If you want it a little bit sweeter, add more marshmallow fluff. If you want your fruit dip a little bit tangier, add some more sour cream! How simple is that for a sweet dip? And it pairs beautifully with any type of fruit!

This homemade fruit dip is so much better than store bought brands like Marzetti fruit dip which contains a handful of ingredients I can’t pronounce. If you’re looking for more fruit recipes, you might like my Easy Macerated Fruit recipe or my Cantaloup/Proscuitto Fruit Kabob recipe.

  • Arrange fresh cut fruit and the 2 ingredient fruit dip on a “charcuterie fruit board”
  • If you’re serving this on a pretty board (like you’d do a charcuterie board), garnish it with a little lemon zest or sprigs of fresh mint!
