2¾ cups tomato juice,
4⅜ cups chicken broth,
1½ tablespoons dried onion,
⅛ teaspoon ground cloves,
⅛ teaspoon cayenne,
1½ teaspoons ground cumin,

Notes
Tomato juice
If you use a Bloody Mary Mix or a Spicy V-8 juice, don't add the dried onion until after the broth has cooked awhile. Why? Most pre-made Bloody Mary Mixers have seasonings already added.
