Instructions
Heat oil in large skillet; place sausage links in skillet and cook on medium high until brown (about 10 minutes); rotate and flip links to brown evenly
2 tablespoons oil, 6 links Italian sausage
Once links are browned, add sliced peppers and onion; combine well and cook 10 minutes, or until vegetables are somewhat tender
1 large onion, 1 large red bell peppers, 1 large green bell pepper
Check internal temperature of links; they should reach 165ºF at the very center of each link
Add balsamic vinegar to skillet; coat links and vegetables with vinegar; plate, garnish with parsley (optional) and serve

Notes
Use mild or spicy Italian sausage links; if you use ground sausage, you'll need about 2 pounds.If the links have a casing on them, you can either boil them for 5-8 minutes to remove the casing or just leave it on...it will dissolve when you cook the sausage.You'll find dark balsamic vinegar on the oil & vinegar aisle or sometimes in the produce section of your grocer.
