Red Beans & Rice
Beans
Bell
pepper
Onion
Celery
Thyme
Cayenne
Bay Leaf
Garlic
Smoked
meat
Parsley
Creole seasoning
Rice
Soak beans overnight in salted water
Brown smoked meat and reserve seasoned oil
Remove meat and set aside
Saute onion, bell pepper and celery in the reserved oil
Add beans to stockpot
Add water
Add thyme and cayenne
Add Creole seasoning and bay leaves
Add parsley
Add browned meat back to pan
Simmer uncovered till tender
Serve & Enjoy!
