Panko Crusted Pork Tenderloin
Panko crusted pork tenderloin is an easy recipe to make on a busy night. Only takes a few minutes of prep and in less than an hour, you’ve got dinner on the table!
Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, this Panko Crusted Pork Tenderloin is a winner every time!
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 pork tenderloins (they generally come 2 to a pkg.)
- 2 cups Panko Crumbs plain or seasoned (see recipe notes)
- salt & pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 375ºF
Lightly oil an oven proof baking pan
Lightly season pork tenderloins with salt and pepper
Coat tenderloins with oil or sauce (see recipe notes)
Place a sheet of wax paper on the counter; add the panko crumbs (and seasonings if desired)
Roll each tenderloin in the panko crumbs, coating all the tenderloin
Place tenderloin in baking dish and bake for 30-40 minutes, uncovered
Check internal temperature with meat thermometer to ensure meat is at 165ºF
Remove from oven and tent with foil for about 5 minutes; serve
- If you want to add a flavor to the pork tenderloin, try coating it with a sauce, then rolling it in the panko crumbs
- Another idea is to add savory herbs to the panko crumbs: parsley, sage, rosemary, thyme, or the traditional Italian seasonings
