This is my Grandmother’s recipe and it is fabulous!
Time to re-think English Pea Salad! Creamy, tangy, delicious and ready in no time!
- 32 oz frozen sweet peas rinsed and thawed
- 1 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 1/3 cup sour cream
- 4 tbsp celery seed
- 4 tbsp red onion chopped
- 4 cups carrots shredded
- 4 cups cheddar cheese shredded
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground white pepper
Rinse and thaw frozen peas
Combine remaining ingredients into large bowl
Once combined, fold in thawed peas, cover and refrigerate for 20 minutes
